Jennifer Rundlett is passionate about teaching flute to students of all ages and levels of experience and has been on the faculty of Mount Saint Mary’s University, Shepherd University, Millbrook Orchestra and Frederick Community College where she has founded and directed the FCC flute choir. Jennifer has recently moved to Katy Texas and is already an approved teacher for the Katy ISD private instructor program. She is maintaining an active home studio online and has enjoyed taking her students into the community for performance opportunities several times a year. Her students are regularly chosen to play in Frederick All County and All State and Katy Regional Bands.  Jennifer is a current member of the Katy Music Teachers Association and the Frederick County Music Teachers Association that is an extension of the MTNA.

Jennifer received her Bachelor Degree in Music from California State University at Northridge where she studied with studio musicians of the Los Angeles area. She earned her Masters of Music from Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore in 1987. While there, she studied with Tim Day who was Principal Flute of Baltimore Symphony and later his teacher Robert Willoughby who was the principle flute of the Cincinnati and Cleveland Symphonies. Jennifer then went on to study in England with the famous flute pedagogist Trevor Wye at the Royal Northern College of Music where she received a Post Graduate Diploma in Flute Performance 1989. She has also participated in Master classes with Marcel Moyse, Jean Pierre Rampal, William Bennett and Trevor Wye.
